India’s first Labour Movement Museum, showing the history of the world labour movement, would be housed in Kerala’s houseboat tourism hub, Alappuzha, reports The Hindu.
The museum will have documents and exhibits shedding light on the labour movements across the continents, said a press release issued by Kerala tourism dept. According to the release, the museum will attract tourists in large numbers.
The New Model Cooperative Society Limited, previously run by the Bombay Company, has been converted into the Labour Movement Museum.
