Uttarakhand’s leading bank- Kurmanchal Nagar Sahkari Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 18.98 crore in 2022-23 FY. This was revealed in the bank 41st Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Vinay Sah.
While presenting the financial figures of the bank, Sah said, “The business mix of the bank stood at Rs 3,606 crore as on 31st March 2023. The deposits and loans & advances stood at Rs 2,348 crore and 1,261 crore in 2022-23 FY respectively”.
“Kurmachal Nagar Sahkari Bank has become the first cooperative bank in Uttarakhand to start the Internet banking. The bank is also providing the facility of Q R Code, Branch IMPS, PayTM and PoS. We are making efforts to adopt digital banking”, he added.
Sah further added, “We are giving the interest on deposits to customers on a monthly basis”.
On this occasion, the bank felicitated the branches for their outstanding performance. The Bank also felicitated children of staff who excelled in the Board examinations of secondary and senior secondary standards.
The meeting was attended by Girish Pathak, Pitambar Pant, Rajeev Kumar Gupta, the bank CEO Akshay Kumar Sah and others.
The bank’s Vice-President Suresh Kumar Jain proposed a vote of thanks.
