Union Minister of State George Kurian participated in the National Fisheries Digital Platform (NFDP) Registration Outreach Program in Madhya Pradesh.
The campaign, running from February 14-22, 2025, aims to expedite registrations and approvals under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana (PMMKSSY).
Kurian emphasized India’s leadership in aquaculture and urged stakeholders to register for benefits. An Aquapark project worth Rs 25 crore was announced, along with a Fish Parlor inauguration.
With over 60,000 registrations in the state, the program seeks to enhance fisher livelihoods and strengthen India’s fisheries sector, aligning with Viksit Bharat 2047.
