The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) staff members led by its CEO Sudhir Mahajan played a vital role in making the 17th Indian Cooperative Congress a grand success, said several co-operators attending the event.
Talking to the Indian Cooperative correspondent, co-operators said the two days event was designed in a manner that the cooperative sector was covered in all its dimensions.
“It was not so easy to handle so many cooperators. From inviting delegates to distributing ID cards, everything went in the right manner”, said a cooperator.
During the valedictory event, Nafed Chairman Bijendra Singh also extended his thanks to the NCUI’s staff members. Many top-notch officials of the NCUI including its Deputy CE Savitri Singh, Ved Prakash Setia, Ritesh Dey, Sandhya Kapoor, Ashish Dwivedi and others played a key role.
The two-day event organized at Pragati Maidan, inaugurated by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, concluded on Sunday evening with the valedictory speech of Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla.
The NCUI officials left no stone unturned in making the event a grand success under the leadership of its Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani.
The NCUI employees’ strength is around 100 and all the staff members were deployed in the preparations for the congress.
