The Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. (KSSFCL) successfully concluded a five-day “Induction Training Program” for its newly appointed staff. The training, held from March 17 to 21, 2025, took place at Souharda Soudha on Margoosa Road, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru.
The program aimed to familiarize new employees with the responsibilities and expectations of their roles within the cooperative movement. The valedictory function on the final day was graced by senior officials, including A. R. Prasannakumar, Vice President of KSSFCL, and Sharanagouda G. Patil, Managing Director of KSSFCL.
Addressing the gathering, Prasannakumar emphasized the significance of staff duties, responsibilities, and accountability in the success of the Souharda cooperative movement. He commended the training initiative and appreciated the knowledge shared by the resource persons, highlighting its role in strengthening the cooperative sector.
“This training program is crucial for the healthy growth of the Souharda movement in the state. The expertise of the resource persons has provided valuable insights to the participants. Staff members play a vital role in the growth of the cooperative sector, and their responsibilities must be carried out with sincerity and commitment,” he stated.
Reiterating the importance of work ethics, Sharanagouda G. Patil expressed his satisfaction with the successful execution of the training program. “I am pleased that this training was conducted for our new employees. It provided a great opportunity for them to acquire essential knowledge. We had 21 resource persons who delivered lectures on various topics, and section heads also explained their departmental functions in detail,” he said.
He further stressed the values that every KSSFCL employee must uphold. “Each member of our organization should work with devotion, dedication, loyalty, commitment, honesty, and transparency to ensure the cooperative movement’s continued progress,” he added.
The event also featured a presentation by Shivakumar Biradar, the Training Officer, who summarized the activities conducted over the five days. He welcomed the guests and acknowledged the contributions of the trainers and participants in making the program a success.
With this initiative, KSSFCL reaffirms its commitment to equipping its staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance efficiency and uphold the principles of cooperative banking in Karnataka.
