Inaugurating a two day High Tech Training Program for CEOs and Senior officers of Souharda Urban Cooperative Banks in Karnataka, Smt. Ambuja Laksminarayan, retired AGM of RBI urged the participants to raise their efficiency level in the present challenging economic scenario.
Most of the Urban Cooperative Banks are working well in Karnataka specially Souharda Cooperative Banks but it is high time banks adopted new technologies, she stressed.
Presiding over the function, President of KSSFCL B.H.Krishna Reddy said Souharda Urban Cooperative Banks are doing satisfactorily well as per the reports of RBI.
Krishna Redddy, however emphasized that efforts are on to solve issues like amendment in Souharda Act, Income tax problems and other administrative problems.
Manohar Maski, Ex. MLC and Founder of SUCO Bank also addressed the gathering. About 37 delegates from 15 Souharda urban Banks attended the program.
The program ended with a vote of thanks by G. Nanjangouda, Director of KSSFCL, Bangalore.
