Inaugurating the celebrations of International Women’s Day organized by KSSFCL Bengaluru, Sadhna Goankat Joint Director of Cooperative Audit said women are born powerful and that they should not be considered a weaker group of society.
The celebrations took place on 11th March at Souharda Sadan KSSFCL Bengaluru. Sadhna said women need to be educated and given opportunities. Elaborating, she said women are carrying out multi-tasks, they never shirk work and they execute their responsibilities with love and affection, informs a press release issued by the cooperative organization.
Speaking on this occasion Reena Suvarna a ranking officer of the police crime branch Bengaluru said Women could be empowered only if they get opportunities & recognition. Suvarna heaped praise on women saying women are always punctual, efficient and show work ethic.
In his presidential remarks A.R.Prasannakumar Vice President of KSSFCL said political awareness in women will lead to the removal of garbage from politics and to fair administration.
Sharangouda Patil, Managing Director of KSSFCL narrated the activities of the co-op organization and gave information about the guests Smt Reena Suvarna A.C.P. and smt Sadhana Gaonkar Joint Director of Audit Smt Usha Jagadeesh as well as about Smt Madhuri Deshpande. Patil explained how they have had achievements making their life a model to others.
Many prominent persons including Bharati Bhat and Sailaja Tapali, Directors of KSSFCL Manjula Patil and B.S. Gundurao were present on the occasion. Shobha Program coordinator welcomed the guests and, Navy compered the function. Smt Renuka gave a vote of thanks.
