Krishna DCCB donates Rs 25 lakh to CM Fund

In a bid to support the flood victims, Andhra Pradesh based Krishna District Cooperative Bank contributed a sum of Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister Relief Fund recently.

Sharing the details with the Indian Cooperative, Krishna DCCB CEO Shyam Manohar said, “In order to support the State Government to give support to the flood victims in our state, we on behalf of our Employees are donating one day salary i.e. an amount of Rs.10,82,737/- and on behalf of our Bank Rs.14,17,263/- and a total amount of Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister Relief Fund by way of cheque”, he said.

It is worth mentioning that several cooperatives of the state have come forward to generously contribute towards the AP CM relief fund for the flood victims.

Andhra Pradesh is currently facing a severe flood crisis, with relentless rains over the past week submerging several areas and displacing thousands of people.

While relief efforts are going on, the need for rehabilitation remains urgent as flooding continues to affect more regions.
