Kribhco Chairman Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and invited him to lay the foundation stone of the bioethanol plant.
The estimated cost of this plant will be Rs 300 crore and it will be set up at Sarvepalli in Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh.
Soon after Yadav’s visit, the Kribhco official twitter handle wrote, “Hon’ble chairman of KRIBHCO, Sh.Chandra Pal Singh met Hon’ble Chief Minister of AP, Sh. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy @ysjagan yesterday, an extended an invitation to lay the foundation for a bioethanol plant to be set up at Sarvepalli (Nellore district) in December”.
Chandrapal also sought the government’s support for the establishment of a DAP complex fertilizer manufacturing plant, to which the Chief Minister responded positively, according to a CMO release.
On this occasion, KRIBHCO Vice-Chairman V Sudhakar Chowdary, MD Rajan Chowdhry and Director (marketing) V.S.R. Prasad and other officials were present. Earlier, Amit Shah, Union Minister had laid the stone for an ethanol plant in Surat.
