On the eve of Cooperative Week, Kribhco organised a “State Level Cooperative Conference” at Hotel Hindustan International in Kolkata. Swarna Kamal Saha, MLA & Chairman, of West Bengal State Cooperative Union was the Chief Guest.
Asish Mondal, Addl. RCS, & Managing Director of W.B State Cooperative Agriculture Rural Development Bank Ltd, Shri Nitai Karzee, Addl. RCS & Chief Executive Officer and Dr. I. A. Khan, Sr. Faculty Member, NSRICM, Kalyani were present as guest & key speakers of the said program.
Swarna Kamal Saha explained about the Cooperative Movement in the state and the developmental aspect of Cooperative for poorest of poor people. Mondal soke on role state rural cooperative bank. N. Karjee explained about functionalities of cooperative union.
Dr. I. A. Khan put his views on the subject of “Inclusive Growth and Good Governance through Cooperatives for Rural Prosperity”. Dr Khan enlightened on role of cooperative for the betterment of people. Sharing knowledge, 
Mohd. Giasuddin, Member, Education Fund, WBSCU and Manab Banerjee, Manager (Fertilizer), BENFED, Kolkata were also present.Nine RGB Members-KRIBHCO and 70 numbers (Chairman, Secretary & Manager) of the different Cooperative Institutions also participated.
While Dr. N. K. S. Chauhan, Chief State Marketing Manager, KRIBHCO welcomed the Guest, T. K. Santra, Manager (Mktg) conducted the programme. Mohd Ali Hyder, DM (Mktg), proposed a vote of thanks.
