The Gujarat State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank, which is popularly known as Kheti Bank, celebrated its 72nd foundation day on Tuesday with full gusto and remembered the contributions Late Shri Udaybhansinhji (Yuvraj of Porbandar state) made in the establishment of the bank.
On this occasion, the bank chairman and veteran cooperator Dollarbhai Kotecha paid tributes to the founder, by garlanding him on his statue. The cake cutting ceremony also took place in which board members and other senior officials of the bank were present.
Incidentally, on the same day the bank management also completed its one-year tenure. A book namely, ‘First year’s Progress Report of Board of Directors’ was also released.
The bank earned a profit of Rs 50.79 crore in 2021-22 and as of 31st March 2022, the total advances of the Kheti Bank were Rs 4,542 crore.
