Tribune News Service reports the Haryana Government will revive the posts of cooperative sugar mills and cooperative societies in the state.
The decision to absorb people was taken in a meeting presided over by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Cooperation Minister Banwari Lal is quoted saying 109 employees had already been appointed. and 159 employees have been sent to sugar mills on retainership.
Chairman, Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises, Subash Barala, said 237 employees of the cooperative sugar mills and cooperative societies had already been appointed on the revived posts as per their qualifications.
