The State Cooperative Department in Kerala will start a deposit mobilisation campaign early next year, reports Indian Express. The move is aimed to increase the deposit ratio in the cooperative credit sector.
Kerala Cooperation Minister said each district will have separate targets and a separate deposit scheme will be designed for school and college students.
A source claimed the state govt is intent on making every student in the state a cooperator. The state-level deposit mobilization campaign will be formally launched at Kollam in January next year.
