Karnataka Co-operation Minister S T Somashekar said the state government was mulling over changes in the cooperative Act to meet the needs of cooperatives and farmers, reports Outlook.
Talking to journalists, the minister said a meeting of MLAs and cooperative officials would soon be held to address the problems facing the cooperative sector in the state.
Somashekar informed that an independent centralized recruitment agency would be set up to meet the human resource needs of all cooperative bodies.
