A rich and influential Karnataka BJP politician Balachandra and his two brothers owe allegiance to different political parties but when it comes to the family interests they come together and defend them, reports Hindu.
It is in this way that one of the brother’s son Amarnath got elected as the director of the Belagavi District Milk Producers’ Union recently.
Earlier, Balachandra himself won the Karnataka Milk Federation [KMF] polls even when the BJP did not have a majority in the federation. Of the 13 elected members in the State-level milk cooperative, eight were Congress supporters, three backed the JD(S) and two from BJP.
