Despite problems posed by Covid 19, Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) in Telangana has made a profit of Rs 51.12 crore during 2020-2021, reports Telangana Today. During 2019-2020, the bank had made a profit of Rs 35 crore.
The bank’s excellent performance has won it the national awards for the last four years from the National Federation of Cooperative Banks limited (NAFSCOB).
The bank has 67 branches with deposits of Rs 1903 crore registering a growth rate of 16.03 per cent. The loans and advances stand Rs at 2070 crore. Overall growth registered is 16 per cent and the business stands at Rs 3973 crore just shy of Rs 27 crore against the bank target of Rs 4,000 crore.
The bank founded in 1921 will observe its centenary fete during the year 2021-22 on a grand scale.
