According to Deccan Chronicle reports, Telangana State Planning Board vice-chairman Boinapally Vinod Kumar underlined the importance of cooperatives and described them as the only answer to the country’s economic woes.
Vinod Kumar said this after inaugurating the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) branch at Avunoor village of Mustabad mandal in Rajanna Sircilla district recently.
Speaking further Kumar said cooperatives would help to develop backward and forward linkages in the agriculture sector.
Pulling no punches, he criticized private corporations and said their growing importance would ruin the country’s economy.
