Kangra Central Cooperative Bank whose Net NPA is 15.31 percent in 2021-22, has donated Rs 51 lakh towards the State Chief Minister Relief fund recently.
The cheque was handed over by the bank Chairman Rajeev Bhardwaj to State Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in Shimla in the presence of the bank MD Vinod Kumar and others.
According to the bank’s balance sheet upload on the website, “The gross NPA of the bank is 29.60 percent. The deposits of the bank increased from Rs 12,174 crore (2020-21) to Rs 12,647 crore in 2021-22 whereas loans and advances decreased from Rs 4,242 crore to Rs 4,147 crore as of 31st March 2022. The CRAR of the bank stood at 12.26 percent”.
