Himachal Pradesh based Kangra Central Cooperative Bank contributed a sum of Rs 3.85 crore towards the state Chief Minister Relief Fund on Wednesday.
The cheque was personally handed over by Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Chairman Kuldeep Singh Pathania to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. On this occasion, other board of directors of the bank were also present.
Sharing the details through his facebook wall, Sukhu wrote, “Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Chairman Kuldeep Singh Pathania and members of the Board of Directors today presented a cheque of Rs 3.85 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on behalf of the bank. This contribution will prove effective in providing relief to the disaster affected”.
Earlier many small and large cooperatives of the state have also contributed towards the CM relief fund.
