Himachal Pradesh based Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Chairman Rajeev Bhardwaj has met state governor Bangaru Dattatreya at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
On the occasion, the Governor suggested Bhardwaj to ensure the participation of women farmers and local artisans in the cooperative movement.
In this courtesy call, Chairman Dr Rajiv Bhardwaj apprised the Governor of the various activities carried out by the bank during the Covid-19 period and the assistance being provided to the farmers.
Kangra Cooperative Bank has 241 branches in the state and about 2500 employees of the bank are providing services to the stakeholders.
Readers would recall that the elections to the board of Kangra Central Cooperative (KCC) Bank will be held in September.
