Maharashtra based Kalyan Janata Sahakari Bank has donated Rs 5 lakh each towards the CM Relief fund and the PM Cares fund in order to help the state and the central government fight against the Coronavirus.
In a press release sent by the bank to Indian Cooperative reads, “On the appeal of the central and the state government, our bank’s Management has responded to the appeal & donated Rs 5 lakh to PM CARES & Rs 5 lakh to the Chief Minister Relief Fund”.
Besides, the bank has appealed to all the customers to use digital payment services such as Net Banking, IMPS, UPI, Debit Card, etc. They also urged customers to visit branches only with the emergency needs and informed them there will be no interest loss to customers on fixed deposits”, the press release further reads.
The bank has also formed 2 teams of staff members who work alternatively so as to render critical services to customers as also our staff members would be less exposed to the general public. We are observing social distancing.
Sanitiser is provided to all branches & offices and advised to ensure that every customer who visits the branch / ATM shall use it while entering the premises. Use of masks is mandatory. Disinfectants are sprayed regularly. ATMs are adequately loaded, according to a press release.
