Cooperatives across the country are contributing generously. Gujarat’s largest Urban Cooperative Bank-Kalupur Commercial Cooperative Bank has donated Rs 1.11 crore toward the Gujarat Chief Minister Relief Fund on Tuesday as a contribution to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Bank Director Kiritbhai R Patel and CEO Vinod G Dadlani personally handed over the cheque to Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel. The cheque was handed over to Deputy CM at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
As soon as they handed over the cheque, the Bank CEO Vinod G Dadlani shared the news along with photograph with this correspondent through WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, Deputy CM lost no time in thanking the bank for giving the contribution. He wrote on his Facebook wall, ” To help the state government in a concerted effort to prevent the transmission of Coronavirus. Kalupur Commercial Co-operative Bank Ltd. Kalupur Bank, Ahmedabad donated Rs 1.11 crore in the Chief Minister Relief Fund”.
Three new COVID-19 cases were reported in Gujarat on Tuesday, taking the total number of coronavirus patients in the state to 73, according to media reports.
