In a bid to support the small business owners and their families in the current situation, Maharashtra based Kaijs Bank has launched ‘Unsolicited loan Scheme’ up to Rs 10k.
Announcing the scheme in the board meeting held last week, the bank Chairman Prakash Awade said, “With no processing fee we are giving a loan of Rs 10,000 to small business owners associated with the bank as shareholders. Under the scheme the borrower will not have to pay EMI for the first six months but after completion of six months they have to pay Rs 300 per month for five years”, he informed.
He further said, “On an average over 10k people will be helped under the scheme. Many small businesses are facing huge economic scarcity due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in Ichalkaranji City of Maharashtra. Only members associated with the bank can avail this facility”, he underlined.
On the occasion, the bank’s Vice-Chairman CA Chandrakant Chougule, Director Swapnil Awade, Chief Executive Officer Vijay Kamat, General Manager Sanjay Satpute, Sanjay Shirgave and Deputy General Manager Kiran Patil and others were present.
