Maharashtra’s leading Kaijs Bank has further strengthened its presence by inaugurating two new branches in Karnataka’s Belagavi district, marking a significant step in its expansion journey. The new branches have been opened in Athani and Harugeri, bringing the bank’s total branch count to 54.
The 53rd branch at Athani, Taluka Athani, was inaugurated by former Mayor of Ichalkaranji City, Kishori Awade, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries.
Similarly, the 54th branch at Harugeri, Taluka Raibag, was inaugurated by Vaishali Awade, Vice Chairman of Maharashtra Urban Co-op. Banks Federation, with distinguished guests from the social and political spheres gracing the occasion.
On this momentous occasion, Chairman Swapnil Awade acknowledged the visionary leadership of the bank’s founder chairman and former MP, Kallappanna Awade, whose relentless efforts transformed a small community savings initiative into a flourishing financial institution.
He also credited Former Textile Minister Prakash Awade for his invaluable support in integrating government schemes aimed at holistic societal development.
