A High-level co-operative delegation from Jordan, which is on a 5-day tour of India, was taken to Narela (Delhi) to apprise them on working of a co-op society in India. IFFCO Cooperative Relation officer Santosh Shukla accompanied them.
Sunil Khatri, an IFFCO delegate and a well-known co-operative leader played the host, as the delegates saw the working of his cooperative society from close quarters and acquainted themselves with the activities being undertaken by co-op society especially in the field of agriculture.
The delegation from Jordan was headed by Director General, Jordan Cooperatives Corporation, Abdel Shalabi, and consisted of Mohammad Dojan, DG Agricultural Credit Corporation and Fakhri Ahmad M Yassen, President Education union of Jordan.
Later, sharing the news with Indian Cooperative Shukla wrote, “We have taken them to show one of the progressive Cooperative models in Narela, Delhi. They were given a warm welcome by the directors of the Cooperative Society and also taken to the Agriculture Fields”.
