J & K State Cooperative Bank has notched up a significant growth of about 15% in the financial year 2018-19. The CASA of the bank has reached 45%, Kashmir Reader quotes a bank official statement claiming.
Net NPA has come down to 1.69% from 2.65% compared to FY 17-18. The primary indicator of the health of a bank, CRAR has reached 12.5% against a statutory requirement of 9%.
The bank Chairman, M S Dar said the fundamentals of the bank have strengthened and improved so much that the bank can compete with commercial banks.
