IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi had congratulated CEO Mr C P Srivastava and his team at JIFCO on the completion of one year of what he called glorious performance. JIFCO plant counts the largest producer of phosphoric acid complex in the world.
The board declared start of regular operations from 1st of December 2014 and the first consignment of 10,000 tons of Phosphoric Acid from JIFCO Jordan was loaded on the Ship on 26th June 2014 at Aqaba Industrial Jetty, Jordan for transportation to IFFCO Plant, Kandla, India.

Readers would note that the largest sulphuric acid plant of the world JIFCO was inaugurated by President of India Pranab Mukherjee and King of Jordan King Abdullah on 10th October, 2015 in the town of Eshidiya, 325 kms from Jordan’s capital city of Amman.
The project is worth $860 million and is called the world’s biggest phosphoric acid complex. Media sources add ”International Finance Corporation (IFC) has given a loan of $335 million to the project in which IFFCO has a 52 per cent stake.
IFFCO has deputed a team of experienced engineers and technicians from its plants in India to support JIFCO and its plant operations.
