Jharkhand State Cooperative Bank has been honoured with the prestigious SKOCH Award 2024 in two business categories at the SKOCH Summit held in New Delhi on Saturday.
The award was received by the bank’s Chairperson Mrs. Vibha Singh and Chief Executive Officer Brajeshwar Nath.
The bank has demonstrated outstanding performance in financial inclusion through business correspondents during the financial year 2023-24, contributing significantly to inclusive banking. Additionally, the bank has recorded historic profitability in the same period.
Jharkhand State Cooperative Bank received the SKOCH Silver Award for Financial Inclusion through Business Correspondents and the SKOCH Gold Award for Profitability.
Notably, the SKOCH Award was instituted in 2003, and the bank had previously received this recognition in 2014.
