Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren issued an order for a probe by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) into financial irregularities in Ranchi and Seraikela branches of Jharkhand State Cooperative Bank.
The Chief Minister has ordered legal action against the culprits in the case.
It may be noted that the special investigation of the finance department found the scam of crores of rupees in both the branches of the bank.
Earlier, Sushil Kumar Satpathy manager of Jharkhand cooperative Bank’s Saraikela branch had been jailed for swindling Rs.37 crore.
