Anand Kumar Jha, 1992 batch IFoS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the new Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies in the Union Ministry of Cooperation.
Confirming the news with Indian Cooperative during the launch of National Cooperative Database on Friday, Jha said, “It’s true that I have been appointed as the new CRCS and the order in this regard was released on Thursday”.
Jha replaced Vijay Kumar who has been appointed as the Chairman, Inland Waterways Authority of India.
The newly appointed CRCS qualifications included, B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc (Botany) PG Dip in IIRS & GIS.
It bears recalling that Jha was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation last month.
