Maharashtra based Janseva Sahakari Bank, Pune will shift to its new head office under construction early next year.
While talking to this correspondent CA Pradeep Jagannath Jagtap, Chairman of the bank said “We are planning to shift our head office to the newly constructed building in Hadapsar Industrial Area. The construction work started last year and it is likely to be inaugurated next year in January”, he said.
“The bank purchased a plot of land measuring 14257 sq. ft. in Hadapsar Industrial area for construction of its Head Office. The proposed building is a basement + ground + 7 Storeyed Structure, having built up area of about 62,000 sq. ft. with all modern amenities”, Jagtap told this correspondent in Pune.
”The bank has decided to adopt the Green Building Concept by installing solar system, rain water harvesting system and plant for Vermiculture. The new office will also have facilities such as car lift and mechanical parking in the basement. The total estimated cost of this project is Rs 25 crore”, he added.
Jagtap said with the inauguration of the new building all departments will come under one roof.
Janseva Sahakari Bank was established in 1972 and the bank has a network of 30 branches in Maharashtra. More than 40,000 shareholders are connected with the bank.
