CEO Venkataramana has been missing for 20 days, leaving depositors—mostly women—deeply distressed over their lost savings. Victims, including Haripriya and retired teacher Samudrala Balasubbaiah, reported being scammed of gold and cash.
With bank offices locked and no funds available, frustrated depositors have approached the police. Authorities have summoned bank staff as investigations intensify into the Rs 2 crore fraud that has affected thousands across multiple locations.
