Rajasthan based Jalore Nagrik Sahakari Bank crossed the business mix of more than Rs 500 crore and earned a net profit of Rs 5.34 crore as of 31st March 2023.
The figures were revealed during the bank’s 25th Annual General Meeting held on 9th September 2023. The CRAR of the bank stood at 21.62 percent in 2022-23 FY.
The deposits of the bank grew from Rs 298.08 crore (2021-22) to Rs 325.06 crore in the 2022-23 FY whereas loans & advances increased from Rs 160.84 crore to Rs 194.99 crore as on 31st March 2023. The business mix of the bank stood at Rs 520.05 crore.
In the 2022-23 FY also the net NPA of the bank remained at ‘Zero’ percent and Gross NPA stood at 2.88 percent. The bank proposed a 10 percent dividend for its shareholders for the 2022-23 FY.
Jalore Nagrik Sahakari Bank Chairman Mohan Parashar, who doubles as the Chairman of Rajasthan UCBs Federation said, “The Rajasthan Government has extended the area of operation of the bank to Jalore Sirohi, Barmer, Pali and new districts of Sanchore, Balotra, and Beawar (Jaitaran and Raipur sub-divisions)”.
“At present, there are 13 branches and the bank has decided to open branches in Ramsin, Jeevana and Bhadrajun in the financial year 2022-23. The formal permission has also been obtained from the Reserve Bank of India as per rules and three branches will be opened in this month”, said Parashar.
Jalore Nagrik Sahakari Bank Ltd. was registered under the Rajasthan Sahakari Society Regulation, Act ,13 1965 on 16 may 1990 with 419 members.
