Jalaun’s Kalpi Kray-Vikray Sah Samiti discuss SDGs goals

To mark the conclusion of Cooperative Week (14th-20th November), Uttar Pradesh based Jalaun’s Kalpi Kray-Vikray Sahakari Samiti organized a seminar on the theme “Role of Cooperatives in Achieving SDGs and the Way Forward for a Better World”.

Uttar Pradesh State Construction Cooperative Union Director Dr. Praveen Singh Jadaun graced the occasion as the chief guest and emphasized that cooperatives are not just economic entities but tools for social unity and rural empowerment.

Presiding over the seminar, Kaushal Kishore Dwivedi, Chairman of Jalaun Cooperative Development Federation, highlighted that properly managed cooperatives could create employment, eradicate poverty, and promote education in rural areas, contributing to the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).

The seminar also saw participation from notable dignitaries, including former Chairman Devendra Chaturvedi, Mahawa Cooperative Chairman Shailendra Singh, and other leaders who discussed challenges and solutions for strengthening the cooperative movement.
