A tribunal of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has sentenced 11 people, including two senior cooperative officials to three years’ imprisonment in a land allotment scam, reports Times of India.
The officials, along with family members, allegedly got a fake housing society lease deed (patta) which was used to procure JDA patta of a valuable plot situated in officer’s campus extension at Vaishali Nagar.
The tribunal sentenced the accused including then deputy cooperative registrar and co-operative inspector.
