Sharad Jadhav has been elected Chairman of the Satara-based Shri Bhairavnath Multi-State Cooperative Credit Society in an election held on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Pawar has been elected Vice-Chairman of the society. Jadhav succeeds Balkrishna S. Moholkar, the founder Chairman of the society, who has now been elected as a director on the board.
Although the results have not been officially declared, they have been sent for approval to the Cooperative Election Authority. Shri Bhairavnath Multi-State Cooperative Credit Society has a business mix of approximately Rs. 205 crore.
The society board consists of 15 elected directors and all were elected unopposed.
It is worth noting that the Cooperative Election Authority had earlier ordered a re-election for the Shri Bhairavnath Multi-State Cooperative Credit Society Limited, citing procedural lapses.
