Amul MD Dr R.S.Sodhi, accompanied by Gaurav Sharma, CEO, JKMPCL met the Lt Governor of J&K regarding the development potential of the dairy sector in the state, media reports say.
Dr Sodhi said the implementation of Integrated Dairy Development Scheme has brought about a big spike in the milk procurement of JKMPCL.
The Amul MD also told the Lt. Governor that JKMPCL is planning to raise its turnover to higher levels this year.
The Lt Governor Manoj Sinha underlined the government’s resolve to transform the dairy scene in Jammu and Kashmir.
