Over 30 countries will participate in Iran’s International Cooperatives Conference which is due to be held at IRIB Conference Center from November 26 to 30, Head of Iran Chamber of Cooperative Bahman Abdollahi announced in a press conference.
He said 150 companies from different European, Asian, African, American and Oceanian countries will attend the event, Mehr news agency reported.
Abdollahi mentioned the conference an opportunity for Iranian cooperative sector to showcase its capabilities and said: “We hope that this event could lay the ground for boosting cooperatives’ share in the national economy.”
He also underlined the role of cooperatives in job creation and economic flourishing.
Addressing the same press conference, Mohammad-Ali Zeighami, the deputy head of Iran Chamber of Cooperative for economic and international affairs, announced that an exhibition is also planned to be held on the sidelines of the conference for showcasing Iran’s achievements in cooperative sector and providing ground for B-2-B dialogues.
