The two Units of IFFCO–Paradeep and Aonla have bagged the National Energy Conservation Awards 2020, winning appreciation from the IFFCO family including its MD Dr U S Awasthi.
The Awards were given virtually to the heads of the two IFFCO Units by R. K. Singh, Minister of State (IC) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, and Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
IFFCO’s Odisha based Paradeep Unit got the 1st prize in the National Energy Conservation Awards 2020 in Complex Fertilizer by Bureau of Energy Efficiency whereas its Uttar Pradesh Aonla -1 received 2nd prize in National Energy Conservation Awards 2020 & Aonla-II for Certificate of Merit by Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi congratulated both the unit heads and their teams for receiving the awards by tweeting his appreciation.
The Ministry of Power, in association with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), organized the 30th National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA) function. This year, due to the COVID pandemic, the function was organized as a Hybrid event transmitted from Vigyan Bhawan.
