With the temperature plummeting across northern India, co-op titan IFFCO has geared up to come to the help of people. It has begun distributing blankets to the needy people in clustered and less privileged areas.
In one such case, IFFCO distributed blankets to the people who are forced to sleep at night on the streets of Gurugram.
Sharing the news through social media, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote, “IFFCO team is distributing free blankets to needy people across the country. Such a drive of distribution of blankets during the night in streets of Gurugram by IFFCO team”.
Earlier, IFFCO’s Kandla Plant head and its team distributed blankets to the needy people at Gandhidham.
Showcasing the human face of co-operative is nothing new for IFFCO and other co-op bodies as they come forward in the event of a crisis-be it natural calamities or pandemic like Covid 19, said cooperative leaders with a sense of pride.
