As soon as the nomination day for the IFFCO Director’s election arrived on Wednesday, several prominent cooperators led by none other than the outgoing Chairman Dileep Sanghani filed their nominations.
Caught up in extensive campaigning for BJP candidates in Gujarat, Sanghani could barely manage time to come to Delhi to complete the formalities.
Talking to the Indian Cooperative, Sanghani said that his world these days is limited to three constituencies of Gujarat – Amreli, Porbandar, and Rajkot, where he is trying hard to get the BJP candidates to win the elections.
Besides Sanghani, those who filed their nominations on Wednesday included Jagdeep Singh Nakai, Umesh Tripathi, Simachal Padhy, and some others.
Candidates can file their nomination papers until April 30th, 2024.
