The hero of IFFCO’s 2014 elections, Ovr Chandran is once again in the fray. Ovr is confident of romping home easily this time round as the reorganization of constituencies has made it easier for him to connect to the voters.
“The reorganization of constituencies is a welcome move as it offers candidates optimal chances of proving their credentials to voters, said Ovr thanking the IFFCO election team.
I belong to the deep South which is perhaps the last constituency of IFFCO; the constituency has 2 states and 2 UTs-Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry and Andaman Nicobar, he explained.
“I do not see any challenge to my candidacy either from Tamil Nadu or the two UTs and I may have to do a little work for Kerala when I get the voter list”, said Chandran.
There are 74 RGB members from this constituency and Ovr Chandra is confident of wooing them with his charm. “In all probability there would be no contest but even if it does, I am sure of winning it this time round , said Ramachandra who had bagged 25 votes in the last election losing to the candidate from Maharashtra who got only 8 votes more than him.
