IFFCO organizes condolence meeting; MD pays soulful homages

Trying to come to terms with the loss in the passing away of its Director, Simachal Padhy, the IFFCO family gathered at its auditorium Friday morning to pay homage to the departed soul. IFFCO Joint MD Rakesh Kapur paid homage to the departed soul.

IFFCO MD, Dr. U S Awasthi, who is traveling to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, visiting Agricultural University and overseeing the work of the co-op behemoth, also sent his condolence message. The message was read by Kapur on the occasion.

Addressed to Renubala Padhi, wife of Simachal Padhy, the message read, “Dear Mrs. Renubala Padhi, I am shocked to hear about the sudden demise of your husband and our beloved Mr. Seemanchal Padhi. Late Mr. Padhi was a dedicated warrior for the values of cooperation and was also a kind-hearted and cultured person.”

MD’s message sent in Hindi roughly went on, “It was a deep personal pleasure to meet him. I had a long association with him. He was elected to the IFFCO Board of Directors in the years 2007, 2009, 2014, 2019, and 2024. I continued to get support and guidance from him on important issues related to agriculture and cooperation.”

An emotional Awasthi says, “His departure is a personal loss for me. I pray to Almighty God to grant peace to the departed soul and give you and your family the strength to bear this grief.”
