IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi has wished Union Fertilizer Minister D V Sadanand Gowda a speedy recovery as the latter has been tested Covid-19 positive.
On his twitter wall Awasthi wrote, “Dear @DVSadanandGowda ji, I am praying for your speedy & healthy recovery. Kindly take good rest & proper medicine under guidance of a medical expert. Wishes of more than 36000 Cooperatives & farmers with you for your good health. A reminder for all of us to stay safe & cautious”.
Announcing through social media, Gowda wrote, ” After initial symptoms of COVID19, I got myself tested and the report came positive. I have isolated myself. I request everyone who has come in my contact to be careful and follow the protocol. Stay safe”.
Earlier, numerous other members of the political fraternity like Home Minister Amit Shah, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Karnataka Chief Minister Yediyurappa, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, were diagnosed with Covid. They have recovered since.
