During his two-day technical visit to the Aonla Plant, IFFCO MD Dr. U S Awasthi took stock of the situation of the Nano Urea unit being set up at the Aonla plant’s premises. It is said that once the plant is ready, the unit will produce about 2 lakh bottles of Liquid Nano Urea Fertilizer (500 ml each) per day.
Awasthi had gone to Aonla after a long gap due to Covid-19. Earlier, his virtual trip was very successful.
The IFFCO MD had interacted with engineers and plant employees and had a round of the unit. The Aonla Unit Head I C Jha and other senior officials accompanied him.
The IFFCO MD also addressed a series of meetings, in which detailed discussions about Nano Technology and quality fertilizer production were held. While visiting various sections of the manufacturing units, he interacted with officials and employees.
Sharing the details through social media he wrote, ” It was really great meeting everyone at #IFFCO #Aonla Unit. I visited each section of the plant and met everyone. Interacted with all. Took an update from all control rooms. All in all, it was great to be with my Plant family”.
On the occasion, the MD also paid floral tributes to Late Shri Paul Pothen Ji at his statue in the Aonla premises. The MD recalled his contributions to the immense growth & working of IFFCO.
Besides, he also met the local MP Dharmendra Kashyap and had discussions about issues related to agriculture and cooperatives.
Readers would recall that the IFFCO Aonla had been declared a winner of the 20th Greentech Environment Award 2020. The award was given for outstanding achievements in the “Environment Protection” category.
