IFFCO MD, Dr U S Awasthi who was on a whirlwind tour of IFFCO Phulpur addressed the employees & officials and told them the strength that lies in the co-op model of doing business.
In his address Awasthi also dwelt at length on the issues of reducing chemicals in the soil and said FFCO Nano Urea is a new way out for the same. Later talking to reporters at IFFCO Phulpur unit he said that the Nano plant at IFFCO’s Phulpur unit would be ready by November 2022.
IFFCO’s Phulpur unit would produce two lakh nano urea bottles daily, said the MD. “A bottle of 500 ml of Nano urea would be enough for one acre of land,” he added.
It is worth mentioning that the trial of liquid urea has been done in many states across the countries and the results so far have been very encouraging. The apples of J&K were found to be unusually juicy and sweet after the use of Nano urea, claimed a farmer from the state.
