Committed to redefining fertilizer uses in the country, IFFCO launched yet another Nano lab in its Aonla unit on Wednesday. It was launched by Managing Director of IFFCO Dr U S Awasthi who was on a visit to the plant.
“The lab is in its initial stage and would in course of time help in various new innovative R&D in plants and soil nutrition’, said Awasthi soon after the inauguration.
A soil testing lab in Farmer Service Center, Sendha was also started on the occasion of the MD’s visit. MD used the occasion to meet hundreds of farmers and personally monitored how a soil-testing lab operates.
He discussed the soil-test report with farmers and educated them on the proper nutrient recommendations. The new lab is equipped with the latest technology of testing soil for macro as well as micro nutrients.
Earlier, the IFFCO MD reviewed plant operations, in which the Unit Head I C Jha along with his entire team gave a presentation. Awasthi also interacted with local media and was felicitated by the teachers and students of Kendriya Vidyalaya at the IFFCO Aonla unit.
