Jayesh Radadiya, Chairman of Rajkot District Cooperative Bank felicitated IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi during the AGM of the Bank organized at Jamkandorana on Tuesday.
Several top notch cooperators of the state including Gujarat State Cooperative Bank Chairman Ajay Patel, NAFED Chairman V.R.Patel, were present on the occasion, among others. More than 15,000 cooperators and farmers graced the occasion.
Radadiya who is also a cabinet minister in Gujarat oversees the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies. It bears recall that his father and veteran cooperator Vitthal Radadiya is the Vice-Chairman of IFFCO.
Touched by the gesture of cooperators Dr Awasthi tweeted, “Sh. IFFCO in general and Awasthi in particular has been emphasizing closure interaction among cooperators. A votary of adoption of B2B model among cooperatives MD had toured the entire length and breadth of the country with an aim to bring cooperators and farmers on one platform.
On this occasion, IFFCO Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar and other officials of IFFCO were also present.
