During his tour to Nagoan in Assam, when IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi met school children, he tickled their curiosity towards agriculture explaining to them how the fertilizer cooperative works for the growth and development of school children through its various village programmes.
In his tweet he wrote “#IFFCO also work for growth & development of school going children in its #village adoption program. Encourages kids for #agriculture”.
On this occasion, he talked about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project of making India a cashless economy and how his cooperative organization is contributing its mite into making it a reality.

Meanwhile, in another development Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh inaugurated a Digi Dhan mela and wrote on his twitter wall IFFCO has organized 84 awareness camps in which about 1 lakh farmers were trained.
Awasthi felicitated ten farmers including cooperators in Nagaon during his farmers connect campaign, in a bid to motivate them into doing their job still better.
