IFFCO has finally got the approval for conducting its AGM. The DM has allowed the assembly of about 200 persons for the purpose, informs Tarun Bhargava who is tasked with preparing for the mega event.
It bears recall that IFFCO has sought the permission of the area DM to conduct AGM with a limited number of participants fulfilling the social-distancing norms. Though IFFCO expects about 200 members at its headquarters for the AGM, only 50 will be seated in the large auditorium and the rest of them would be accommodated in other halls, said Bhargava.
There are about 36000 co-op outfits as members of IFFCO depending on dividends, that are credited to the members banks’ account on the day of AGM.
Being the first to hold AGM, IFFCO had to postpone the event in the wake of Covid. It usually holds its AGM in May.
